“Advocacy,” which captures mock trial, moot court, and alternative dispute resolution, is a category of professional skills and activities that involve written and oral communication, problem solving, and legal analysis. The Albers Investment Club (AIG) is a student-run organization, which works to apply concepts and strategy to the changing stock market while actively managing a portfolio currently worth over $50,000 USD provided by DA Davidson.

We constructively build our knowledge base through a variety of student led discussions to improve and develop new investment ideas, maintain up-to-date economic knowledge, and enhance student involvement in the investment world, regardless of their career goals.

The primary purpose of the Business and Entrepreneurship Law Association (BELA) is to provide access and build relationships between law students and the business/entrepreneurial community in Seattle. Secondarily, the Association seeks to explore topics such as corporate structures, funding opportunities, mergers/acquisitions, liability, marketing/advertising, online contracting, and other areas that relate to business/entrepreneurship law. BELA will accomplish these goals by providing various educational and practical events including career panels, presentations by guest speakers, job shadow opportunities, mentorship program, meet and greets, workshops, and various other functions.
