Counselors for Social Justice is a community of master’s students, professional counselors, and counselor educators who seek equity and an end to oppression and injustice affecting clients, students, counselors, families, communities, schools, workplaces, governments, and other social and institutional systems.

To grow community through gardening, urban farming, and food justice work. We hope to connect students with local farms and food pantries, build knowledge in sustainable agriculture, and contribute to food security on and off campus.

Mission
The mission of Students for Reproductive Justice (SRJ) is to advocate for sexual wellness, bodily autonomy, and the dissemination of the latest evidence and best practices in birth control. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students at the College of Nursing and the entire student body. Furthermore, SRJ seeks to address the reality that, across the United States, pregnant people of color face significantly higher mortality rates due to unequal access to proper reproductive healthcare. Finally, we believe that, as nurses and future nurses, it is our duty to educate ourselves, our communities, and our patients about comprehensive sex education, family planning, and reproductive health services.

In addition to learning more about reproductive justice, membership offers career development opportunities including connecting with our partner organizations Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Catholics for Choice, and community involvement and service opportunities.
